Expert video calls on the platform are recorded and transcribed as a standard part of the service, so that an accurate summary and record can be kept for the family. By scheduling or joining a CareConnect call – as a family member or as an expert – you consent to this recording and transcription. You will also see a recording notice and confirm your consent before each call connects. The resulting record belongs to the family; experts cannot edit it. If you do not wish to be recorded, cancel the call instead of joining – expert chat is available as an unrecorded alternative.
