Indiana roots, veteran care administration

Live was built to solve a problem we encountered daily running residential care facilities.

Before building Live, our parent company operated licensed residential senior care facilities in Indiana. In those facilities, we watched adult children struggle with the exact same patterns: navigating Medicaid spend-down calculations, negotiating nursing transitions, and trying to decipher complex care plans after hours.

We noticed that the families who navigated the system best weren’t those with the most resources, but those who had personal access to a Residential Care Administrator (RCA) who could explain the unwritten rules of care transitions in plain English.

Verification and regulatory integrity
Every expert on our platform holds an active, verified Residential Care Administrator (RCA) state license. We verify licenses against the state registry before any expert enters the family-facing chat queue.

Live was built to scale that administrator-to-family connection. By providing a secure platform for moonlighting experts, we give families the high-trust advocacy they need, while our experts contribute safely under peer pseudonyms that protect their day-job standing.
